I’m David Thomson, a songwriter from Independence, Kentucky, now based in Knoxville, Tennessee. I’ve been writing songs and composing music for more than forty years. In my younger days, I chased the idea of writing songs in Nashville, but eventually chose a steadier corporate career and kept my music as a hobby.My songs blend country, classic rock, and Americana influences, exploring love, change, regret, loss, and the hope that tomorrow might be brighter.I released my first full‑length album, Out of Control, in April 2026, and I’m now working on my follow‑up, Slide, scheduled for September 2026.
